EASTER BREAD
This is an Italian Easter staple, at least in my family. I make a big batch every year and we eat it very quickly! This recipe makes at least 8 medium size balls, braids, or loaves.

packages yeast

c. water, 1 tsp sugar

eggs

sticks butter

c. evaporated milk
mixed w 1 c. water
(melt butter in milk and water)

1/2 c sugar

lb flour

T orange extract (approx)

Preparation
mix to soft dough, let rise, shape loaves and let rise. 325 for 30 min, apply egg wash,then 20 min more.
